Pakistan’s chaotic floods have shattered the people who are subjected by the flood. The flood displaced people exclaim that they are short of clean drinking water, and the adverse hot climate is deteriorating them further. Children are mostly influenced by the weather conditions in the flood relied camps, and the jeopardy of various diseases is increasing drastically.
Heavy downpour rains have carved a bitter and harsh fate for almost 5 million people; they are without shelter still after a month of the calamity. Flood victims are really scared and distressed over the pitiful condition. People are expressing their existence in tents as they are in hot oven in day time, where they are fighting for their survival. There are 400,000 people internally displaced in Nowshera district alone. These people are surviving in Khandar 1 tent arranged at the Khandar Technical College.
The total numbers of people that are affected are well counted in seventeen millions. The United Nations have exclaimed that there are only 64 percent of the total funds available there for rehabilitation purpose. The children and students are not able to continue with their schools. People are short of essential hygiene, hence children and women are the mostly subjected by diseases. People are facing psychological and mental disorder due to this heavy disaster.
