Miramshah: The Pakistan military helicopters on Wednesday targeted 3 hideouts of the militants, killing 10 terrorists in Miramshah in the recent offensive against foreign and local terrorists, being associated with banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, officials confirmed. The three hideouts were completely destroyed in the recent attack by the shelling of Pakistani military helicopters.
According to sources, the military helicopters aimed at the three compounds of the terrorists in the Khar Warsak area which is considered to be the main town in the North Waziristan tribal region and it is located 12 kilometers north of Miramshah.
It is gauged that since the operation Zarb-i-Azb has started, approximately 500, 000 people have left North Waziristan. It is pertinent to mention here that the operation Zarb-i-Azb was started in order to crush foreign and local terrorists, being settled in tribal areas for years and damaging Pakistan.
Since the military operation has began, Tens of thousands of families belonging to terror-stricken areas have gone to Bannu, whereas hundreds more have gone far afield to the towns of Lakki Marwat, Karak and Dear Ismail Khan. In this operation, 376 militants and 19 soldiers have been killed yet.
The sitting government along with Pakistan Army has seriously been trying to pacify the country through talks with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. On the contrary, Taliban only claimed to negotiate seriously but on the other hand, the banned group was continuously busy in attacking Pakistan forces, Pakistan police and the public.
The recent attack at Karachi airport paved the way for the military operation against those who have challenged the government’s writ and have been violating the state’s rules as well as damaging Pakistan’s integrity. The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday vowed that all local and foreign terrorist would be eliminated in operation Zarb-i-Azb.
