New Delhi: Every 3 out of 10 men is living under extreme poverty, facing severe problems in India while the poverty rate has gone up to 31percent, compare to the 24 percent the previous year, a recent survey released by Global Organization ‘Gallup’ informed Monday.
According to the French news agency, the survey informed that there are as many as 31 percent Citizens in overall Indian population, whose ages are 15 or beyond, living under extreme poverty, not even getting the fundamental needs of life.
The survey further told that 56 percent of the population is making a failed attempt to improve the quality of life in the country where only 13 percent of the people are living with prosperity.
It is important to mention a recent report by the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) which states that 8 Indian states have more poor than 26 poorest African nations combined which totals to more than 410 million poor in the poorest African countries.
The colonialist capitalist economic system has affected almost every part of the world which has accumulated the resources and wealth into a few hands, that is why the world has witnessed extreme poverty and recession throughout the last century, even the sub-continent that was considered as the golden goose of the world prior to the arrival of the British and their capitalist system has observed its loop holes.
