Karachi: After a decrease of 12 dollar per barrel in the rates of Oil Prices in the International market, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has suggested the government to lower the prices of petroleum products to Rs. 11.75 per liter, sources informed.
According to the details, OGRA has also sent a summary to Government regarding the lowering of petroleum prices in the country.
The summary suggests a cut of Rs. 10. 46 per liter in the rates of petrol while Hi-Octain is recommended to be decreased to Rs. 11.75 per liter, Hi-speed Diesel to Rs. 6.08 per liter, Kerosene Oil to Rs. 5.26 per liter while Lite Diesel to Rs. 5.02 per Diesel, OGRA officials informed.
It is to mention here that the Finance Ministry would overview the summary, upon approval the new rates on petroleum products would be enacted from 16th June.
