All daily wages and contract employees of National Highway Authority have been regularized.
The Federal Minister Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan Khalil, while addressing a meeting of the NHA Daily Wages and Contract Employees in this connection, said that PPP has fulfilled another of its promises.
He said that no employee of the Government would be sacked while PPP is in power because the PPP is known to provide jobs to the people whenever it comes into power. Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan said that the world knows that we are taking revolutionary steps to materialize the dream of providing food, clothing and shelter to the people as envisaged by Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
The Federal Minister urged the regularized employees to now work with diligence and play their role in progress and development of the country. He said that the NHA is a world renowned organization and it is the duty of all its officials and workers to maintain its standards.
The Chairman NHA Syed Muhammad Ali Gardezi was also present on this occasion. The regularized employees on this occasion expressed their profound gratitude and showered rose petals on the Federal Minister and the Chairman NHA and chanted loud slogans.
