WASHINGTON: The Prime Ministers of Pakistan and India are going to attend the session of UN General Assembly. Being held next Week in New York but both, Nawaz Sharif and Narendra Modi will not meet as their meeting is not fixed. The US officials who always ready to emphasize that Pakistan and India should solve all their issues have not showed zeal for the questions arising concerning the meeting between both the counterparts.
The spokesman for the US State Department, John Kirby, said in a news briefing in Washington that there are some issues that should be solved by both, Pakistan and India through talks, adding that America will appreciate the restoration of talks between both the countries.
However, the diplomatic sources told that USA, despite being reluctant to include publicly concerning Pakistan and India’s disputes, is active to reduce tension between both the nuclear neighbor countries.
According to sources, USA as well as the other regular members of Security Council have emphasized on the leaders of Pakistan and India to avoid any kind of battle front during the address in the session of General Assembly.
The senior diplomat of Pakistan while answering to a question concerning raising of Kashmir Issue by the premier Nawaz Sharif during his address, said that Kashmir is a key issue and it should be discussed.
