Afghanistan President has sought to limit NATO air strikes. In reply, NATO has said that coalition forces constantly strive to reduce the chance of civilian casualties and damage to structures, but when the insurgents use civilians as a shield and put our forces in a position where their only option is to use air strikes, and then they will take that option.
The question is if this would have happen to American and European citizens. Would they have the same attitude?
