Karachi: MQM (Muttahida Qaumi Movement) withdraws its ultimatum from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Wednesday. The ultimatum was given to the ruling party by the Coordination committee of MQM. According to the committee the ruling party never fulfils the legal demands of MQM but it only gives assurance of fulfilling the demands. The committee added that the demands of MQM are always for the welfare of the people.
The decision of taking the ultimatum back was taken by the committee after President Asif Ali Zardari called the leader of MQM Altaf Hussain and assured him about the implementation of demands. President informed the MQM chief that demands was not implemented due to his pressing engagements.
The release also informed that the president assured the MQM chief that all issues will be accepted and implemented soon by the mutual understanding MQM chief Altaf Hussain praised the president on his speech in United Nations.
