Bannu: The chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Mr Imran Khan has condemned stopping the entrance of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) to the provinces of Sindh and Punjab. He has said that all the tribesmen who have migrated from North Waziristan are Pakistanis, whosoever is imposing ban on the entrance of IDPs into Sindh and Punjab is violating the constitution of Pakistan. ‘’I condemn to stop the affectees’ entrance to Sindh and Punjab,’’ he said.
According to sources, the chairman PTI Mr Imran Khan has reached in Bannu in order to celebrate Eid with Bannu IDPs. He wished Eid Mubarak to the IDPs and said sorry for not performing the Namaz-e-Eid with them. He said that the IDPs were not alone on the occasion of the Eid.
On the occasion, he talked to the media and saying that he promised to celebrate Eid with the IDPs. He added that it was a difficult time for IDPs and Imran Khan Foundation would work for them. He further said that all the tribesmen who migrated from North Waziristan were Paksitanis, whosoever was imposing ban on the entrance of IDPs into Sindh and Punjab was violating the constitution of Pakistan. He condemned such an act on the occasion.
Imran Khan further said that 4 lakhs of the children were also included in the IDPs and PTI was trying that these children should be educated till they were there. According to sources, Imran Khan would spend his day with the IDPs today.
On the other hand, Imran Khan said that no one including Shahbaz Sharif had contacted him concerning the long march, being held on 14th August 2014, stressing that the long march must be held on the same date.
