Karachi: Institute of Business Administration has announced that the admissions for MBA and MS (CS) Programme for both Morning and evening program are open for Spring 2013 at both Campuses. The online admission forms are available from Thursday, 18th October, 2012 while the semster would commence on 2nd February, 2013.
The duration of IBA updated MBA (Morning) program is two years (72 hours) for those who have non-BBA background while 18 months (66 Credit hours) for candidates having BBA background. 16 years of education from an HEC recognized instititute with at least 60 percent or 2.5 CGPA score in last degree wil be preferred.
The candidates must have at least two years post qualification work experience. The structure includes 24 courses including MBA Project and summer internship while 22 courses including MBA project for BBA background candidates.
The Entry test for non-BBA background applicant is mandatory while those who are IBA BBA graduates with CGPA 2.5 and above are exempted. They will directly qualify for the next round i.e. interview, group discussion and essay submission.
The Spring 2013 Semester will commence on February 04, 2013 therefore two years work experience requirement has to be completed prior to the start of the semester.

The applicants must note these few points,
- A Minimum 16 years of education out of which 4 years should have been spent in an HEC recognized university / degree awarding institute with:
- A Minimum of 60% aggregate marks or a minimum CGPA 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 (as applicable) & a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience gained after graduation / completion of 16 years of education
- Equivalence certificate by HEC in case of holders of degrees/ certificates issued by non-Pakistani universities / boards
- All equivalency claims shall be evaluated by the HEC (hec.gov.pk). Holders of professional degrees/ certificates (BE, MBBS, LLB, CPA, CA, ACCA, etc.) are encouraged to apply for MBA / Masters Programs.
