Chennai: A sixteen years old girl, Divya, living on the footpath here in the big city of Southern India shocked everyone after scoring highest marks in the matriculation exams in her school. She achieved 427 out of a total of 500 marks in the Matric exams.
Acknowledging her skills after the news regarding the achievement of Divya published in the local newspaper, a bank has decided to afford her educational expenses till BA.
The local bank has also decided to accommodate her with a residence. It is to mention here that Divya had been living on the footpath of Chennai with her young siblings and grandmother for over eight years.
