Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa have claimed that our desire is to have normal and peaceful relations with India. While just few days ago Indian Air Chief claimed that they are ready to fight a two front war with Pakistan & China.
General Qamar Bajwa was addressing a seminar on ‘Interplay of Security & Economy’ in which he desired better relations with India which he said was necessary for Economic Development.
He praised the efforts of Pakistan Armed Forces and said “Alhamdulillah, we have a much improved security situation on the internal front. The challenges to the state’s writ have been defeated, though residual threat still resides. The situation is stable but there is apparent fragility at places”
He also said there are vulnerabilities which should be countered before they materialize and become security threat. He also talked about the security situation of Karachi which he said our enemies destabilized.
