Lahore: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notice to as many as five Pakistani cricketers including Misbah ul Haq, Mohammad Hafeez, Azhar Ali, Umar Akmal and Taufeeq Umar to submit their income tax dues, sources informed.
According to the sources, the notice has been sent to all the national cricketers directing them to show their tax details as it has found a big difference between the reported and real incomes of the players.
It is to mention here that Pakistan cricket team has remained seriously involved in corruption like any of the other cricket playing nation.
Earlier previous year, FBR issued the same notices to the players and it was reported that the skipper Misbah-ul-Haq was issued the notice in wrong category because of misunderstanding.
