It is expected that Eid-ul-Fitr will be on 31st August in Pakistan. The moon will be sighted on 29th Ramazan (Tuesday, 30th August) in the evening in Karachi, according to MET Office.
Therefore Chand Raat in Pakistan will be on 30th August (Tuesday).
The new moon will be born on 29th Aug, at 08:04 Pakistan Standard Time (PST). This was stated by Secretary General Ruet-i-Hilal Research Council, Khalid Ejaz Mufti.
It is expected that first moon of Shawwal will be sighted in Karachi, Hyderabad, Badin, Dadu and Thatta of Sindh and Gwadar, Jiwani, Turbat and Ziarat of Balochistan.
It is also expected that those countries where Ramazan started on 1st August will also observe 29 days of Ramazan.
