Earthquake In Chitral On Wednesday Jolts City, People Stunned

chitral earthquake on wednesdayChitral: An earthquake of low intensity magnitude, 4.6 to be exact on the Richter Scale jolts city and the surrounding area Wednesday early morning. Following the quake, people ran out of their homes in half sleep and panic overcame the minds, local news channel reported.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological department, the mountainous of Afghanistan-Pakistan border region were the epicenter of the latest earthquake that hits the land today.

However, reports of any casualties or property loss have not been received so far. Further details are under way. More earthquakes are expected in the area in the upcoming days, sources told.
