Difa-E-Pakistan Council Announces Schedule For Long March

Lahore: The meeting of the Long March Organizing Committee formed by Difa-e-Pakistan Council was held here Monday at Mansura led by Liaqat Baloch that finalized the route and framework of Long March, local newspaper reported.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, Molana Ameer Hamza, Qari Zawar Bahadur, Molana Abdur Rauf Farooqi, Allama Zahid Mehmood Qasmi, Molana Sham ur Rehman, Muawia, Yaqoob Sheikh and Qari Mansoor Ahmed.

Liaqat Baloch announced that on May 27th after the Zuhr prayers, long march would be started from Mazar-e-Quaid and will reach Hyderabad by Isha. After a night stay there, the protest rally would move forward from Hyderabad to Sukkur on May 28th, Sukkur to Raheem yar Khan on May 29th, Raheem yar Khan to Bahawalpur on May 30th, to Multan on May 31st, to Sahiwal on June 1st and then it would reach Lahore on June 2nd.

The rally participants will stay in Lahore on June 3rd, on June 4th rally will reach Gujranwala, Jehlum on June 5th and finally Islamabad on June 6th.
