Dubai: Former Pakistani Chief of Army Staff and ex-president of Pakistan, General Pervez Musharraf comments in an interview on the current problems that country is facing. General says that the dictators are being blamed for halting the democratic process but they do a lot for the progress of the country.
He argued while the truth is that the generals have brought the country on track, unfortunately, the civilians have been incapable to continue the railed process and derail the country from tracks.
He was interviewed by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in Dubai, where, nowadays, he is passing is self-exile days. He replied, on a question, that the dictators did not play a crucial role only in Pakistan also the fat of whole Asian countries had been changed by the Military Force.
Mr. Musharaf added that country had witnessed an appreciable progress during the period of dictators while the progress of the country had been halted when the generals removed from the positions.
