ISLAMABAD: Director General of Inter Services Intelligence, Lieutenant General Zaheerul Islam and Chief Ministers of all four provinces have met Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad today. According to details, DG ISI Zaheerul Islam has made a farewell meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and discussed professional affairs. According to sources, the premier appreciated professional skills and services of Zaheerul Islam.
On the other hand, Chief Ministers of all four provinces have met the premier Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad. The meeting among the Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Baluchistan Dr Abdul Malik, Chief Minister of Sindh Qaim Ali Shah and Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khatak with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is going on. They are discussing about current situation of Pakistan and anti-polio campaign in the country.
Meanwhile, the case praying for the premier’s disqualification will be heard today. The division bench of Supreme Court headed by the acting Chief Justice, Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja will hear the proceeding of the case. Other members of the bench include Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani and Justice Mushir Alam. Since Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk is on foreign visit, acting Chief Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja will be hearing the case.
