Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has clearly told US that the decision to get vacates the Shamsi airbase would not be taken back, adding that this decision has been taken with mutual understanding and it would not be taken back. This he said during meeting with US Ambassador in Pakistan Cameron Phelps Munter who called on him at Aiwan-e-Sadar on Tuesday.

According to the sources the US ambassador brought the important message of US government but President Zardari informed him that whichever decisions has been made these are made during the defence committee of the cabinet after the consultation of military leadership.
