Islamabad: The local police on Tuesday record charges against young Asim Khan for annoying a girl in public but did not arrest him because he was the son of the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
According the police officials, the Industrial Area police reached I-8 Markaz for help on the call of girl’s relatives and found out that Asim was irritating her in front of her relatives and the passers by, he claimed that the girl was his girlfriend who left him and he was insisting here to return to him.
After the intervention of Police, Asim also abused with the officials and made them aware of his high position and links.
Ultimately the police brought him to the local station and booked a case against him under PPC 506 (criminal intimidation) on the complaint of the girl who accompanied them.
However, Asim was set free after the senior police officers intervened in the matter.
It is worth mentioning here that Asim son of CDA Chairman Farkhand Iqbal was seen beating a young boy in the City few days back.
