Blast At Railway Track Killed 4 People In Baluchistan

BaluchistanMASTUNG: A blast on railway track in district Mastung of Baluchistan has killed 4 people whereas 10 people were injured in the blast as well. According to a local newspaper, the blast took place in Dasht, the area of Mastung. Jaffar Express that enroutes to Rawalpindi from Quetta was passing on the railway track at the time of blast. A bogie of Jaffar Express was damaged due to the blast.

The people injured in blast were shifted to Bolan Medical Hospital and Civil Hospital Quetta whereas three of the injured are in critical condition. A heavy contingent of security forces reached at the site after the blast and cordoned the area off.

The explosive material was fixed at the railway track. No group has claimed the responsibility of the blast yet. It is pertinent to mention here that Jaffar Express has been being targeted in past in the same way.

It should be mentioned here that insurgency in Baluchistan has continued from a decade and government and public installations are targeted in Baluchistan by terrorists.
