Toli Peer is a hilltop situated in Tehsil Rawalkot of ‘Azad Kashmir’ which has become a famous tourist destination in the recent years. It is more than 8,800 ft above the sea level from where the whole valley is seen including the Abbaspur, Bagh and Poonch River .
It is named after a Sufi saint whose tomb is also situated on the highest hilltop. It is only accessible in summer because in winter the snow makes it difficult & dangerous for tourist to reach the hilltop.
Toli Peer Guest is also situated in a beautiful location of the valley where tourist rest while visiting this beautiful place. But recent increase in tourism is also polluting the area.
Visitors who come with snacks, cold drink and other disposable items throw them in the hilltop which affects the beauty of the area. Government should take notice of this important issue before it’s too late.
