Lahore: The son in law of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Ali Imran has been moved to jail on 14 days judicial remand on Thursday in the torture case of a bakery worker while the hearing on his bail request has been adjourned till Friday, local news channel reported.
According to details, Ali Imran was arrested by local police under Section 109 when he appeared in the police station on Wednesday. The police presented him before the local magistrate today where the magistrate ordered Ali Imran to remain in the police custody for 14 days after brief hearing of the case.
However, Station house officer (SHO) is also been issued a notice by the magistrate in connection with Ali Imran’s bail plea. The CM Punjab’s son in law has been sent to camp jail.
