The registration date for old arm licenses will be extended from 31st August till 30th September. This was stated by e Ministry of Interior.
Recently it was announced by the government that all arms licenses issued by the Ministry of Interior shall stand ceased with effect from 1st September and only arms licenses issued by NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority) will be considered valid after 31st August but now this dead line has been extended up to 30th September.
All district level offices of NADRA will accept requests for revalidation of arms licenses
All arms license holders have been requested to bring an original CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card), original arms license and an application form duly filled in while visiting NADRA offices.
The government licence fee has also been waived and only a nominal fee of 500 rupees will be charged.
