Lisa Rosendahl was 26 when doctor told her that she has only months to live. She was suffering from brain cancer and her doctor gave up when the cancer become resistant to chemotherapy.
She was 21 when mass was observed in her brain, which was tested and the report confirmed brain cancer.
The treatment was started but after 5 years the cancer become resistant to it. At that critical moment combining anti-malaria drug chloroquine helped the treatment to be effective again.
Within days she was recovering and was able to again move her arms and feet. She is among the few individuals who survived cancer at that stage.
The treatment of mixing anti-malaria drug was applied on two other patients and the impact on them was also unbelievable.
The paper was published in medical journal eLife which describe the unbelievable impact of the drug which saved 3 lives and will save further in future.
