Islamabad: Pakistan Security Forces have arrested Al-Qaeda commander Namim Maizikh at Pak-Iran border while he was entering the Pakistani territory Wednesday morning, sources informed.
Namim is a French born Al-Qaeda commander who controls and guide all the external operations of the hard-core Islamic group. He is also said to be a close companion of senior Al Qaeda leader Younis al Mauritani.
According to the sources, Maizikh was arrested from Chapamach area by National spy agency personnel when he stepped in the Pakistani territory Pakistan.
It is to mention here that the Pakistani forces also captured Younis al Mauritani along with two associates during a raid in the southwestern city of Quetta the previous year.
