Vice Advisor for National Security of Afghanistan Muhammad Abdali said that Afghanistan decided to postpone the trilateral dialogues.
According to the US newspaper “Wall Street Journal” the meeting between Pakistan, Afghanistan and US officials scheduled on 8th October has been postponed, adding the procedure to hold dialogues with Taliban was going to decide in this meeting.
According to Muhammad Abdali, the visit of Prime Minster Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani to Afghanistan at the end of October has also been postponed.
Muhammad Abdali said that the main reason of postponing the meeting is the killing of former Afghan president Burhanudding Rabbani, which is linked with Pakistan and telephone calls from Kabul to Quetta were used for this purpose.
He said that terrorists are unable to make the planning of the killing of former president Burhanuddin Rabbani without any help.
