US Secretary of state Rex Tillerson is on a visit in Pakistan where he met high officials demanding ‘Do More’ as per the Trump policy for Pakistan.
He met Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and many other high officials including Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Bajwa, DG ISI Lt General Naveed Mukhtar & Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif.
During the meeting he appreciated the efforts of Pakistan in the global war against terrorism and said that Pakistan is important for the joint goals of USA for peace & security.

PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi also said that Pakistan & USA are strategic partners in the war against terrorism for which Pakistan is fighting the largest war.
Later US Embassy issued a statement regarding the details of the meeting with Pakistani officials. In which it was revealed that US Secretary reiterated Trump’s message for Pakistan asking to increase the efforts against militants and safe heavens of terrorists in Pakistan.
