KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) has rejected the allegation made by Saulat Mirza that PPP facilitated criminals in jails when it was in the federal government. On the other hand, Awami National Party (ANP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have demanded that those whose names have been disclosed by Saulat Mirza should be investigated.
The leader of PPP Sharjeel Memon has said that the government of PPP has never facilitated criminals in jails. The leader of PTI Faisal Wada said that the names Saulat Mirza mentioned in his statement should be added into ECL. The leader of ANP Shahi Syed said that the solution of the matter was to expose the master mind, not to hang Saulat only.
It is pertinent to mention here that various news channels aired a recorded video of Saulat Mirza on Wednesday night in which he levelled allegations against MQM chief Altaf Hussain, Babar Ghauri, Governor of Sindh and other party leaders that they were involved in criminal activities whereas all these leaders rejected the allegations.
