Islamabad: The PIA national airline management sold tickets without the presence of the airplane and abroad passenger had to face problems overnight at the airport. Flight PK-747 was not able to depart on time because of unavailability of plane, as passengers stuck at the Islamabad airport.
According to the reports, Wednesday night at 10 pm International Airline (PIA) flight PK-747 had to leave for Madina from Islamabad but there was no airplane to for which the passengers had to been wandering around the airport.
Passengers protested and eventually after a delay of 12 hours, flight left for with passengers. PIA spokesman claimed the passengers had told about the absence of airplanes. On the other hand internal flights are used to delay unusually as the flight from Islamabad to Quetta with delay of 9 hours will leave for Quetta at Thursday night 8:00 pm. According to the report, the delay of internal flight is told due to the weather.
