ISLAMABAD: The Leader of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr Tahirul Qadri has ordered his supporters to besiege the Parliament here on Wednesday. Tahirul Qadri has not only crossed the barriers of the Red Zone in Islamabad but he has also crossed the limits of the law and the constitution of Pakistan.
Dr Tahirul Qadri has ordered his party workers to besiege the parliament, adding if anyone comes out of the parliament, he will have to cross over his corpse first. While the meeting in the National Assembly was going on, Allama Qadri also threatened to the Prime Minister of Pakistan to not let him come out of the assembly unless he resigned.
As per the order of Qadri, the participants of the sit-in spread round the building in order to block the exits of the building and took hold of the positions. In the meantime, Dr Tahirul Qadri ordered his party workers to not leave their places and to not let the premier come out of the building till his resignation.
On the one hand, Tahirul Qadri not only kept giving lessons of being peaceful to his supporters but on the other hand, he kept provoking the party workers. He even said if someone came out of the assembly, he would have to cross over his corpse first. The Allama directed his workers to not embroil with the Army.
Dr Tahir announced that the sanctity of any chambers or houses would not be humiliated but he did not clear whether to avoid entering the important buildings or not. Tahirul Qadri demanded to dismantle the present assemblies and establish a national government, adding that he could not stop demonstrators for long.
It is pertinent to mention here that Dr Tahirul Qadri’s directions and warnings failed when Nawaz Sharif reached at the Prime Minister House whereas other members of the parliaments also managed to reach their destinations easily.
