Karachi: The opposition parties will take out a protest rally in connection of “Black Day” being observed today against absence of army personnel in ongoing process of voters’ verification. According to the statement issued here yesterday, the protest rally will take out after Friday prayers at 1.00pm from Masjid-e-Khizra to Election Commission Office.
General Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Naseem Siddiqui has appealed the people of the city to participate in large numbers in the protest rally with a view to hold fair and free elections.
JI Ameer Karachi Muhammad Hussain Mahenti and leaders of different opposition parties will address the participants of the rally.
