Karachi: The Pakistan under-19 cricket team who recently shared the under-19 Asia Cup winning trophy with India has been presented with priceless awards and cash prizes due to their brilliant performance in the Asia Cup 2012 been played in Malaysia.
The team players were awarded two lacs each while the officials were presented with one lac each. Sami Aslam who showed outstanding performance in the tournament was presented with a special prize of Rs. 1 lac.
The team was honored in an event held at National Cricket Academy in Lahore that was attended by Chairman PCB Zaka Ashraf, Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmed, Chief selector Iqbal Qasim, Javed Miandad, Intikhab Alam including several other officials.
