11.2 Million Ounces Gold Discovered in Pakistan

gold tunnelIt is being reported that Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources is acquiring equipment with worth of Rs. 415 million so that Pakistan’s hidden natural resources will be mapped.

The official sources from the ministry told APF that the current government has so far completed 21,000km 2D and 18,000 3D surveys of potential areas with oil, gas or other minerals. He said that the Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP) is working to explore natural sources so that the economy may be uplifted.

He said that 184 billion tons deposits are located in Sindh, in Thatta, Thar, Lakhra and Jhimper. He also indicated that further explorations and investigations will be carried out in Musakheil, kingri and Toiser Basin in Pakistan.
