Legislation, oath, decorum, prestigious, pledge, attire, privilege and oration. These words might sound you hardcore, but this is really not a cock and bull story. This is a story of Oath taking ceremony organized by Youth Parliament at Governor House Karachi.
For young parliamentarians, it’s not less than a day dream situation which turned out as a reality, when Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat ul Ebad took the oath from them to be the member of Youth Parliament’s Legislation committee. Meanwhile, the event witnessed the presence of Provincial Minister for Youth Affairs Mumtaz Hussain Jakhrani, Secretary Youth Affairs, Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Former Vice Chancellor University of Karachi Peerzada Qasim and Founding Chairman Youth Parliament Rizwan Jaffar.
There were few suggestions brought forward by Mr. Rizwan Jaffar to Governor Sindh, which were welcomed by Dr Ishrat ul Ebad e.g. to set up Youth Help line at Governor house, to become the patron-in-chief of Youth Parliament and to allocate annual grant for Youth Parliament. Later some awards were distributed among the chief guests and old campaigners of Youth Parliament.
