Whatsapp, world’s most popular & leading messaging app will be adding some new features in the application in 2022. These latest updates are currently available on the beta versions only, but sooner or later many of these new updates will be available on android, iphone & iOS versions.
Though there are numerous updates but here we will be listing some of the changes which you didn’t know and will make your experience in WhatsApp 2022 different from previous years such as 2021 & 2020. All these new features will be available on both mobile phones and WhatsApp web, after their leaunch.
Pause and Play Voice Recordings:
Are you annoyed by the need for deleting voice recordings due to some noise, interruptions or some other issues? Then the new ‘Pause’ feature which will be available for voice recordings in Whatsapp is something interesting for you.
Through this feature users can pause the audio recording when they wish and then resume it from where they left it. Users will also be able to hear the recording even before sending it, giving them another chance to review it.
WhatsApp Message Edit:
Now WhatsApp will also be providing users with message editing option through which people can edit their message even after sending them. This will be one of the biggest features which WhatsApp will be providing to users.
Hide Online Status:
After release of the latest update on WhatsApp users will be able to set preferences for their online status, they can both show it to all or some and even hide it from specific people in contacts.
Group Polls:
Polls are something that are helpful for knowing opinion of people, especially when choosing the place to visit or the food to eat, but no such options have been available in Whatsapp. But now this feature is being considered and hopefully it will be available for groups.
WhatsApp Premium:
WhatsApp will also be providing a ‘premium’ version for WhatsApp Business with some exclusive features such as linking multiple devices, cover photos which make the account look familiar to facebook and much more.
Some other prominent features which can be provided include:

- Time extension to delete messages for everyone
- Ability to mute specific people in group calls
- Option to move Chats to iOS
