Mumbai: Mumbai Cricket Association has imposed a five year ban on Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan, the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, from entering the Wankhede stadium, following his grim argument with MCA staff on Wednesday night.
MCA chief and Union Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh pronounced the ban on King Khan. “The rules apply to all, no one is above them,” he said at a press conference in Mumbai on Friday.
It is to mention here that Khan got into a fight with Wankhede ground members at the end of a match between his Kolkata Knight Riders and the host Mumbai Indians.
SRK while commenting on the ban said that it won’t change his life if he is not allowed into the stadium in the future.
He tried to justify his act saying, “Yes, I was abusing as they were insulting me and I was forced to abuse when someone abused me in Marathi. I will not deny the fact that I abused”
