Gilgit Violence Kills 5 People And 27 Others Are Injured

Gilgit: The Alhe-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat in Gilgit has protested heavily against the Government steps taken and give out a Shutter down strike call in the whole are of Gilgit.

During the Strike and Protest the City was resounded by Heavy round of fires and grenade attacks in which 5 people got killed and 27 other including the two Policeman and got injured the injured were shifted to District Headquater hospital.

Besides that Law enforcing agencies has been imposed in Gilgit the tyres were burnt in different streets and area of the city . The people told that law enforcing agencies were not there to control the situation the fear is gripped in the entire city.

Situation now is under control after the operation launched against the elements damaging the peace.
