The fastest man on Earth Usain Bolt is fan Pakistan former fast bowler Waqar Younis. Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt five-time World and four-time Olympic gold medalist has said that he was a big admirer of Waqar Younis and in his childhood he was a big supporter of Pakistan cricket team.
Usain Bolt recently won the 100 metres gold medal in London Olympics with a running time of 9.63 seconds, setting a new Olympic record for that particular distance and defending his gold medal from the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Usain Bolt said: “The person I looked up to was Waqar Younis because he had a great in-swinging yorker. He was wonderful. Pakistan was my team when I was six when I started watching cricket. I enjoyed watching them play.”
Usain Bolt occasionally plays cricket also and he has also bowled West Indian Chris Gayle in a charity match in Jamaica in 2009. Bolt is also fan of Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar and Australian opener Matthew Hayden.
Usain Bolt also hold the record of 100 meter race which is 9.58 seconds which he achived during 2009 World Championships
