The History of The Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls
The Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls began in 2013. Its goal is to help Pakistani women get higher education. These women are dedicated to improving their futures and the economy and society.
So far, these scholarships have aided more than 900 women to pursue education. They study for Master’s, Bachelor’s, and Ph.D. degrees in fields like food security, education, health, and STEM – all very important for Pakistan.
What Do These Scholarships Offer?
These scholarships financially support BS/MS/MPhil programs. These programs are available at any HEC recognized university in Pakistan.
The scholarships include the following:
Tuition fee coverage for chosen courses in eligible fields.
Help with university hostel expenses (if applicable).
Support for travel costs between home and university twice a year for on-campus hostel students.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
The Scholarships are available only to female applicants.
Applicants should be Pakistani citizens living in the country.
They must be enrolled in a four-year bachelor’s program in specific subjects.
Have an official admission offer from a university recognized by the HEC.
Preference will be given to young women with disabilities, those from rural areas, and minority communities.
