Lahore: Pakistani authorities have seized a vegetable consignment from India on Wagah border from which spying equipment was recovered during security screening, leading newspaper reported Friday. The spy devices were hidden inside tomatoes’ crate which includes sound recorders and several other detective equipments.
The four men, identities are yet to be ascertained, dealing with the consignment have been arrested and the investigations are underway, newspaper quoted sources as saying.
Meanwhile, the devices have been sent off to experts for inspection. Further details are awaited.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan captured a monkey in December last year that was found wandering in Cholistan, part of Pakistani land from India.
