South Africa Won By 3 Wickets

Indian is no more unbeaten in world cup 2011; South Africa beat India by three wickets while 2 balls were remaining. India won the toss and elected to bat first. India’s opening batsmen Sehwag & Tendulkar played awesome innings. They gave 142 runs 1st wicket partnership in just 1734 overs.

Sehwag out by scoring 73 runs in 66 balls, then Gambhir & Tendulkar scored 125 runs 2nd wicket partnership. After Tendulkar & Gambhir out, no batsman can bat well. India lost last eight wickets for 29 runs.

South Africa’s batting start was not much impressive; Smith & Amla make 41 runs partnership. But major partnership was recorded between Amla & Kallis, who scored 86 runs in 2nd wicket partnership.

Dale Steyn declared man of the match for 5 cracking wickets. India is still on top in Group B while South Africa on third position. To get Points Table Situation click here.
