A complaint number has been launched in Sindh on the directives of provincial Education Minister to register complains against increase in school fees.
Director General Private Institutions Sindh, Mansoob Siddiqui, established the complaint center in Karachi which will be headed by Deputy Director Administration Allah Bachayo.
How To Complain?
The newly established cell will register complaints any increase of fees over 5%. If you want to complain then contact at:
Phone Number: 021-99217489
Email: dirprivateschool.govtofsindh@yahoo.com
This step has been taken after the orders of High Court which restricted all private schools regarding school fees. The court ordered schools not to over burden families by increasing fees over 5%.
On 4th September Private Institution Sindh issued a notification to all private schools asking them to adjust any increase over 5%. Another notification was issued later asking schools to provide details about how many adjustments have been made.
Sindh’s Directorate of Privately Managed Institutions has set up complaint centre against those schools which still receive more than 5 percent increased fees from parents. Parents can register their complaints on 021-99217489, or email: dirprivateschool.govtofsindh@yahoo.co

Increase in school fees has been a major problem as it made education expensive and out from the reach for many parents. The deteriorating education system and higher fees forced parents to file petitions in court.
They also encouraged parents to report any school which has increased school fees greater than 5% so that relevant action should be taken against those schools.
Mansoob Siddiqui also reminded parents to avoid selecting unregistered schools. As Director General of Private Institutions he wrote letters to Deputy Commissioners in Karachi to seal such schools.
