Shoaib Akhtar Speaks About Night Clubs Culture In Cricket

shoaib akhtarKarachi: Pakistani pacer and officially the fastest bowler in the world Shoaib Akhtar reveals about the growing culture of night clubs in cricket and the players going in dance parties before and after the match. He said that every team in the world equally desires to show up in late night parties including Pakistan, India, Australia and others.

He said that I always had a desire too to go in night parties and dance clubs during foreign tours but I was not  hypocrite to hide such acts, he was talking during an interview on Indian television. “However, being an open book was my biggest fault,” he added.

Controversial former Pakistani fast bowler blamed low pay pay for match-fixing and said that the cricketers are being tempted into fixing matches because they are poorly paid by their board.

“In 2008, I had no money to even buy a car. I had to borrow money from a friend. I handled it, and never got involved in match fixing saga,” he said.
