These laboratories follow international standards and guidelines along with an in-house built software system which allows patients to access through reports through online method.

All pathology reports of Shaukat Khanum Laboratory Collection Centre can be accessed online through simple process and procedure.
1) Open the official website of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre
2) On the bottom of the page click on ‘View Your Lab Reports’
3) Write your Invoice No. and Access Code, which are written on your receipt
4) Now you can view, download or print your medical reports
Other reports such as ECG, CT, X-Ray & MRI are not available online and can only be received by visiting the collection center in which these medical test were conducted.
These laboratories are not established for profit rather all earnings from these collection centers are used to treat needy cancer patients in Shaukat Khanum. This feature differentiates it from Aga Khan Laboratory and Chughtai Lab.

History:
Shaukat Khanum was founded in 29th December 1994 becoming the first specialized cancer facility in the whole region where cancer diagnostic and treatment facilities were available.
Each year it provides chemotherapy and radiation therapy to thousands of people from which 75% patients are financially assisted by the hospital.
Currently there are two hospitals providing cancer diagnostic and therapeutic facilities according to international healthcare standards in Lahore & Peshawar. A third one is being planned to be built in Karachi for which land was allotted by Defence Housing Authority (DHA).
Outreach cancer screening & walk-in clinics are already working in Karachi, Peshawar, Multan and Lahore. The diagnostic centres are also established in Karachi and Lahore.
