Shahid Afridi is one of Pakistan’s most famous cricketer but his wife, daughters and other family members usually remain away from media spot light and celebrity life style.
Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi is married to Nadia Afridi who is his maternal cousin.
Shahid Afridi & Nadia Afridi got married on October 21, 2000 and they celebrated their 18th marriage anniversary in 2018.
The marriage ceremony and wedding events were done according to tribal culture and norm that’s why no wedding pictures or images of Shahid Afridi with his wife are available.

Despite being wife of Pakistan’s most famous batsman Nadia Afridi remained disconnected with the media. According to Islamic teachings she covers herself with hijab and niqab and was seen in stadium along with her children in PSL and other cricket matches.

Who Choose The Bride?
In an interview Shahid Afridi was asked about his marriage to which he narrated that he himself asked his father to arrange his marriage. He says that few days later my father told me that he has arranged my marriage and I appreciated this.
Later he requested pictures of the girl which will soon become the bride, he says that he disliked her when she saw the first pictures because of the makeup but after seeing more pictures without makeup he was satisfied with the decision.
Shahid Afridi believes in spending time with family and that’s why whenever he gets time he visit Dubai or London along with his family.
He also shares moments with his daughter and family through social media platforms such as Instagram.
Visiting their native village in Kohat is a regular trip for the family of Shahid Afridi. They still own a house and land there which they occasionally visit as a vacation trip for his children. He has also started many charitable projects in his village and nearby areas such as hospital, schools and water projects.
Some videos and pictures were posted on social media where it was claimed that her daughter has died but that were fake rumours.
Shahid Afridi narrated that His wife doesn’t like cricket but all his daughters are cricket lovers who were seen raising slogans for their father’s team during PSL and other matches.
Daughters of Shahid Afridi not only watch cricket matches of her father in stadium but are also active in his philanthropy work under The Shahid Afridi Foundation. Last year Ansha Afridi spoke with participants in a fund raising event for SAF in London.
Like a traditional Pakhtun family other details of her daughters and family are not known.
