Former captain of Pakistan cricket team Shahid Afridi has introduce his lawn namely ’Widyaan’. Widyaan is Arabic word which means valley. The exhibition for the ladies lawn will be held in Imperial Lawn, Clifton from 12th-14th August. Flamboyant all rounder has taken on this business in partnership with his friend Shahzad Miannoor. Shahzad is associated with the textile industry from a long time.
The lawn will have 22 designs in the collection; each design will have variety of three colors. The price of the collection will be from Rs8500 toRs12800. Afridi has planned to setup this business in Karachi and Lahore but he will soon introduce his ladies collection in Dubai and will make the collection an international brand.
According to Afridi the female fans have always demanded a clothing collection for them as I have the collection of men’s kurtas (and the business of men kurtas is doing well). So I decided to launch collections for women.
