ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said that Law and Order situation in Bangladesh is being reviewed now ahead of T-20 World Cup and we would send security team. After that the report will decide either to send the Pakistan cricket team or not.
During weekly Press Briefing at the Foreign Office Tasneem Aslam said that PAK-AMERICAN strategic dialogue will be held in Washington DC. In which US Secretary of State John Kerry and Advisor to Prime Minister Sartaj Aziz will be present, date will be finalsied soon for the meeting. She also mentioned that the next T-20 World Cup is in Banglades. For this purpose the situation in Bangladesh is being reviewed. The special team will to be sent to review the security situation before the event
Since the political violence has affected almost every city in Bangladesh, including the three host venues for the T20 tournament – the capital Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has showed reservations over the tour.
