Chairman of the Hajj committee sent the proposal of restoration of the quota because the expansion is almost near completion. Yesterday the Saudi King Salman Abdul-Aziz approved the proposal for which Minister of Hajj & Umrah Dr. Muhammad Bin Saleh thanked him.
In 2007 a total of 2.4 million people performed Hajj, 1.7 million foreigners and 746,511 domestic pilgrims but later the figures were reduced because of construction.
