London: London High court has awarded jail in spot fixing case. Agent of cricketers, Mazhar Majeed has got 32 months sentence. Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir received 30, 12 and six months jail. Court also ordered three players to pay contribution in prosecution cost, Salman butt have to pat pay £30,937, Mohammad Amir £9,389 and Mohammad Asif £8120.
Judge Jeremy Cooke gave release Mohammad Amir due to age and education. Mohammad Amir will spent six month in a welfare place. Mohammad Amir and Mazhar Majeed already accept their involvement in spot fixing.
Mohammad Amir’s father told media that his son did no ball on captain’s order while Butt’s father has disappointed with decision and didn’t talk with media. Butt’s sister told media that her brother did nothing wrong.
